  • National Institute on Drug Abuse - The Institute is part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. This site provides detailed information on drugs that are commonly abused and educational materials for students, teachers, and health professionals.

  • Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) - This Web site contains information and links to federally sponsored mental health and substance abuse programs throughout the country. This agency is a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. It provides funding for programs to prevent and treat mental illness and substance abuse.

  • Treatment Services - Help for Substance Abuse in New Jersey. This N.J. Department of Human Services site provides information about addiction treatment and the services available in New Jersey.
