Introduction

If you want more education, you may need to find out about what schools or programs you can apply to. You may also need financial aid to help you pay for education. This section of the Web site contains links to information about programs that teach reading and computing skills and about programs that provide financial aid. If you are a parent, you and your children have rights and responsibilities under federal and state education laws. This Web site contains links that explain the right to special education and the constitutional rights of students. This section also contains information written by LSNJ about the rights of all children, including homeless children, to attend public school for free. Finally, this section contains links to other organizations that can help with education problems.

LSNJ's Education Representation Project may also be able to help you with education-related issues if you live in New Jersey and have a low income.
